P-P-P-Premier, DJ Premier
This Thursday (the 26th) Ottawa will have the honour of having DJ Premier spin at Heaven nightclub. You cannot miss this show, it will be completely off the chains! Primo has had his paws on an absolutely epic amount of amazing rap music in the past 20+ years and if anybody knows how to rock a party, it is him. Come out and wild out, it will for sure be a crazy evening!

Some classic Talib Kweli and Mos Def on this week's show. Talib is the man, simply for the fact that he dropped this line in Respiration: "It's a paradox we call reality. So keepin it real will make you casualty of abnormal normality." In terms of this track, Hi-Tek creates one of the most laid back beats ever in 2000 Seasons, piano loop with snap-crackle of the record it is from laid on low volume under the heavy snare hit and background ambient sound- just beautiful.

Yes the Justus League member has far and away the best stage name I've personally ever laid eyes upon. I played some of his songs just to make sure that I wasn't dreaming and it turned out they were for the most part complete bangers so not only does the man have a superb name but the beats are 9th and the lyrics are fire. WOO.
